Charlotte Hornets (+410) at Philadelphia 76ers (-550) | O/U 209 (-112/-108)
The Hornets (17-50) have a quick turnaround after falling on their home floor last night against the visiting Phoenix Suns, 107-96. Charlotte just missed the cover as 10.5-point underdogs, too.
The 76ers (36-30) welcome them in desperate need of a win. Philadelphia has won five in a row in this series, including all three meetings this season, although Charlotte has covered the past two installments.
Despite the loss Saturday, Charlotte has actually won two of the past four outings outright, including its most recent road game at Memphis, 110-98, on Wednesday. The Hornets are a respectable 4-4 against the spread (ATS) in the past eight games, as well.
The 76ers have been in disarray lately, dropping five of the past six games, and they’re not nearly the same team without Joel Embiid on the floor. Tobias Harris is also questionable for this battle. As a double-digit favorite, Philadelphia has failed to cover the past four tries dating back to December 16.
Bet: Hornets +10.5 (-110)
Golden State Warriors (+118) at Los Angeles Lakers (-138) | O/U 233.5 (-110/-110)
The Warriors (34-31) and the Lakers (36-31) do battle at Crypto.com Arena in SoCal in this nationally-televised game on ABC.
The Lakers have won seven of the past 10 meetings head-to-head, while also going 7-3 ATS in the impressive span. Los Angeles has picked up three wins in the past four games at home, and as long as the Warriors don’t wear Sacramento Kings uniforms, which is obviously kryptonite to the Lakers, L.A. is going to be just fine.
The Warriors are coming off a 109-99 loss in Dallas, and they’ve won just once in the past four games, with losses to the lowly Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs. The Dubs also recently lost to Boston by 52 points on March 3. Golden State isn’t playing well. Back L.A. to get the job done.
Bets: Lakers -2.5 (-110)
New York Knicks (+138) at Sacramento Kings (-164) | O/U 218 (-112/-108)
The Knicks (39-27) kicked off a four-game road trip with a 105-93 win against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday. They figure to face a lot more resistance in California’s capital city at Golden 1 Arena from the Kings (38-27).
New York has won just six times in the past 15, although it has won three in a row on the road. Still, the Knicks are 0-6-1 ATS in the past seven games against Western Conference opponents, pushing against the Blazers at most shops in the most recent outing.
The Kings topped the Lakers 120-107 last time out, maintaining their mastery in that series, and Sacto has won four of the past five games overall while going a respectable 3-2 ATS during the span. Sacramento has a slight 8-7 ATS in the past 15 tries against Eastern Conference foes, too.
Bets: Kings -3.5 (-110)
