The 2024 NFL Pro Bowl Games kicked off in Orlando with a star-studded Skills Showdown event. Baker Mayfield shined in the precision passing competition, showing pinpoint accuracy to lead the NFC to victory. Cowboys stars Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs flexed their athleticism by dominating the dodgeball matchup.
One of the most viral moments came in the high stakes punt catching challenge, where Steelers safety Miles Killebrew pulled off an unbelievable diving catch while juggling five footballs. His spectacular grab earned deafening cheers from the crowd and cemented a win for the AFC.

Eagles center Jason Kelce brought the laughs in the new “Snap Shots” event, struggling mightily before a last-second surge earned the NFC more points. Vikings long snapper Andrew DePaola sealed the deal with clutch snaps, thrilling fans with his precision.
Overall, the electric atmosphere and light-hearted competition produced nonstop entertainment on the first night of action. With the NFC leading 12-6, Sunday’s events including a flag football game promise even more standout performances from the NFL’s biggest stars.

Move The Chains
AFC participants: Will Anderson (Texans), Terron Armstead (Dolphins), Myles Garrett (Browns), Laremy Tunsil (Texans), and Kevin Zeitler (Ravens).
NFC participants: Demarcus Lawrence (Cowboys), Penei Sewell (Lions), Montez Sweat (Bears), Tyler Smith (Cowboys), and Tristan Wirfs (Bucs)
The Move The Chains event features Teams of 5 players competing to move over 3,000 pounds of weight off a wall, then drag a 2,000-pound wall across the finish line. For the special competition between the offensive and defensive linemen, the AFC looks like they have the edge. The team has Will Anderson and Myles Garrett who are both super fast and strong.
The NFC has good players too, like Montez Sweat and Demarcus Lawrence, but the AFC seems a bit better built for this competition. We’re betting a little on the AFC to win this part.
Look for the AFC defensive line led by Myles Garrett and Quinnen Williams to dominate, as their combination of power and explosiveness will be too much for the NFC offensive linemen to handle.

Gridiron Gauntlet
AFC participants: Team 1 – Anderson, Armstead, Tunsil, DeForest Buckner (Colts), Trey Hendrickson (Bengals), and Wyatt Teller (Browns). Team 2 – Garrett, Dion Dawkins (Bills), Justin Madubuike (Ravens), Ross Masticik (Jaguars), Quenton Nelson (Colts), and Quinnen Williams (Jaguars).
NFC participants: Team 1 – Lawrence, Sewell, Wirfs, Kenny Clark (Packers), Aidan Hutchinson (Lions), and Chris Lindstrom (Atlanta). Team 2 – Sweat, Derrick Brown (Panthers), Andrew DePaola (Vikings), Landon Dickerson (Eagles), Lane Johnson (Eagles), and Dexter Lawrence (Giants).
The Gridiron Gauntlet is a full-field obstacle course relay race featuring six players from the AFC compete against six players from the NFC. Players are required to tear through walls, crawl under doors, and navigate other obstacles to push the final sled across the field.

Last year, the NFC captured this event. This competition requires a combination of strength, speed, agility and teamwork. We’re giving a slight edge to the NFC based on athleticism but AFC certainly has playmakers that could prevail. Regardless, this should be a fun and unpredictable event to watch.

NFC roster key players: Jalen Hurts and D’Andre Swift (Eagles), Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs (Lions), CeeDee Lamb, Micah Parsons, and DaRon Bland (Cowboys), DK Metcalf (Seahawks), and Puka Nacua (Rams).
The main Pro Bowl event on Sunday is Flag Football, which features a flag football game between AFC and NFC all-star teams. There are four quarters, each 12 minutes long. Led by, player-coaches Peyton Manning (AFC) and Eli Manning (NFC), it’s tough to guess what’s going to happen in this game.
When you look at the teams, it appears the NFC might have the upper hand. They’ve got Jalen Hurts, who’s super athletic, some really good running backs like Jahmyr Gibbs, and wide receivers who are just right for this type of game. We won’t see Bobby Wagner making big tackles, but the NFC’s defense is pretty strong and they just need to watch out for Tyreek Hill.
In this event, defense doesn’t play a big role. Last year, the score was 35-33, with the NFC catching up late in the game. We think the NFC, with its strong offense, will win a close game.
